I'm often asked if necrpolitan can be healed by positive energy. The answer is yes and no. No, they can't be healed by positive energy in the sense that they're brought back to life or cured of their undead state. However, positive energy can help them repair their physical bodies and helps to keep them from decomposing. So, in a sense, yes, positive energy does heal necrpolitan...just not in the way most people think. I'm often asked if Necropolitan are healed by positive energy. The answer is yes, but with a few caveats. Necropolitan can only be healed by positive energy if they have the Necropolitan feat. If they don't have the feat, then they can't be healed by positive energy at all.

Necropolitan also receive less benefit from positive energy than living creatures do. They only regain half as many hit points from being healed by positive energy. So, if a living creature is healed for 10 hit points by positive energy, a Necropolitan would only regain 5 hit points from the same amount of positive energy.

Finally, remember that Necropolitan are undead creatures. This means that they are vulnerable to turning attempts and to effects that specifically target undead, such as the sunbeam spell.
